About Pumpkin Patch Preschool & Child Care
We work with children in a group atmosphere that reflects our beliefs that childhood is to be honored, children are capable, and that each child reaches his or her potential in his or her own unique way.
Children who spend time with us will be safe, nurtured, challenged, and enjoyed! We work hard to provide a stable and fun learning environment, a healthy well-balanced snack menu, and fun activities. We love to play indoors and outdoors. We like to take nature walks. In the summer we offer an extended program of gardening, bug collections, and a variety of special visitors.
Our goal is to provide parents with the confidence that when you leave your children with us every day, they will be cared for by someone you trust.
The Philosophy of our Staff
We believe that childcare should reflect and establish the skills and talents necessary for each child to reach his/her full potential while feeling loved and secure.
Our teachings will reflect a high regard for each child’s uniqueness with respect and understanding of societal and cultural diversity. This is done with a sensitive and caring staff that works in collaboration with parents and families. Studies confirm the importance of a strong bond between home and childcare settings; therefore we value a partnership with our parents and families.

Administration
Monique Beaulieu, Pumpkin Patch Preschool & Child Care Owner/ Director
Monique has over twenty years of hands-on experience with children in a childcare setting. Monique is registered with both the Maine Roads to Quality as well as Quality for ME. She received her CDA (Child Development Associate) credential in July of 2018, and also holds a current CPR and First Aid Certificate, and Water Safety Certificate.
She previously owned another small child care facility and also has worked as a director of a multi-center child care business. She has managed a program with 25 teachers and 125 students in the past. She is also a mother to two adult children and a set of teenage twins.
