Our Programs
All of our programs are designed to help your child be the best they can be. We strive to challenge each child to their highest potential without pressing too hard and with no stereotype of expectations.
Pumpkin Patch Preschool & Childcare is located at 61 Depot Road in West Baldwin, Maine. We offer infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age child care services in the Sacopee Valley and Sebago School Districts, as well as the surrounding areas.
Our spacious play yard includes tall trees that provide shading, a sandbox, and an area for digging, riding, and climbing. With our location, the children will be able to explore the limits of their senses and muscles. For the summer we offer an extended program of gardening, bug collections, and a variety of special visitors.
We have a full staff and individual rooms which allows us to work in smaller groups and give more attention to each child. We look forward to working with your family and setting and meeting goals that you have in mind for your children.

Infants
Our infants are treated with love and gentle care. They are held when fed, played with when awake and appropriately stimulated to help them start working on their motor skills.
Toddlers
Toddlers are challenged to develop both their fine and gross motor skills, with plenty of blocks, puzzles and toys to utilize. We use Maine's infant and Toddler learning guidelines to write our curriculum.
Preschool
Our preschool learning program is a healthy balance of play learning to help them develop problem-solving, cognitive thinking, and gross fine motor skills they will need to be successful in life, with time set aside for writing, pre-reading, cutting, and following verbal directions to accomplish a project.
School Age
Our school-age, before and after school program consists of outdoor activities such as sliding, digging, gardening, nature walks, throwing balls, catching balls, kicking balls, organizing teams, parachute games, chase, and developing their imagination with role-playing imaginations. Indoors we offer games such as Chess, Checkers, Trouble, Sorry, Chutes and Ladders, Puzzles, etc. Time for reading and homework can be allotted if requested by parents.
